Fibromyalgia: A Comprehensive Approach What You Can Do About Chronic Pain and Fatigue by Williamson, Miryam Ehrlich Published in 1996, it was the first book on the disorder for people who have it. It is still an excellent introduction for people newly diagnosed.

  5. Everyone experiences anxiety at some time in their lives but it's worse for fibromyalgia sufferers. Anxiety disorders and their accompanying symptoms are more severe and pronounced... panic attacks are common.

    I refer a lot of people to "Ravyn's Doll: How To Explain Fibromyalgia To Your Child" by Melissa Swanson. It's a great way to help young ones understand more about fibromyalgia.

    Also, the first one I read was Celeste Cooper's Integrative Therapies for Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue
    Fatigue Syndrome.
